The leads!

Well my little Thespians after a long discussion, a few tears and a little blood shed the other directors and I have finally made our decision as to who will receive the covetous slot for the six main roles.

First off our two most important supporting roles of Taylor McKessie and Chad Danforth go to Julianne van den Heffer and Mark Scott. We were very impresses with their performance and are glad to have their kind of enthusiasm on stage.

Then second our two antagonist, Ryan and Sharpay Evans go to Abigail White and her brother Nicholas White. The pair are twins and so we thought that they would fit perfectly into this role as seem to really bring the characters alive in their join audition.

The Finally our protagonists, Paul Ascott will be our leading man and take on the role of Troy Bolton and our leading lady, sure to steal the spotlight is Vanessa Guiliani as  Gabriella Montez.

Just want to congratulate our chosen stars we all hope that they break a leg.

Then to all you aspiring dancers do not forget that tomorrow the dance auditions are going to be held so drop by and show your stuff.

Well everyone this is what we are striving for with Play of ours. I really hope that this clip inspires you all to do really well.

I also have a little announcement that my self, Mrs. Winter and Jane Landerling, the student head of the drama club have almost made our decision as to who will be playing the lead roles. I hope you are as excited as we are.

I also just want to say a big thanks to all the students that have auditioned. Without enthusiastic thesbians as you all, this would not be possible.

The Auditions to Come!

Well Hello my fellow Thespians

I hope that you are all preparing yourself the the auditions. I have drawn up a schedule stating what auditions will be held and so you may consider what exactly you would like to contribute to our play.

First things first, the first auditions are on the 12 of September.
This first set of auditions will be for the character role and back up singers with in the play. So you have to come with a piece or two prepared. I would like to make it clear that if you are auditioning for one of the lead role you will have to have a song prepared as well as  a piece of dialogue. You will have to stipulate at the beginning of your audition what role you want to audition for.

Then on the13th of September we will be holding the dance and music auditions. In this section of the auditions dancers and musicians must prepare a piece to preform. The reason we are looking for musician is that we can have live music for the play. It is important to note that if you are applying for the live orchestra for the play that you must be able to read sheet music. Mrs. Winter the music teacher is going help greatly with the synchronisation of the learners selected for the live orchestra.

To all of you who are auditioning
